Aconex is a renowned software development company that offers project management services to large engineering enterprises and construction companies across the world through a robust Java-based tool made for desktops.

The client contacted IndiaNIC with the requirement of mobile apps with the same features and functionality as that of Aconex desktop app.

Objectives

The client came with a requirement of leveraging enterprise mobility through customized applications for both Android and iOS platforms.

The client, in the wake of mobile-driven work culture, wished to come up with bespoke mobility solutions for the users while offering online project management solutions to some of the largest engineering and construction players including L&T and AECOM.

As a software solution provider, the client had a clear idea about utilizing the basic smartphone features for establishing communication and collaboration among all the users wherever they are. Using the cloud platform in mobile apps for restoring and accessing critical project data was one of the top priorities of the client.
